Recently I found something interesting. My comander is a archer general and vercingetorix is a infantry general. Im playing on Great wall #8 with the 5 unit horse archer and 5 unit wood raider.
I take off all the equipment on my commander including banner and gems. The horse archer starts with 940 hp and after adding him on it goes up to 1130 about 20% health increase with no equipment.
I put vercingetorix with no quipment or banner on the horse archer. Hp stays at 940.
Vice versa for the wood raiders. Vercingettorix on them 1285 -> 1540 (120% hp). Commander on them, stays at 1285.
Pompey buffs infantry the same, bato also the same and the same amount.
Surprisingly, Ponthius buffs to 1415 or 110% health.
It seems like the skill a general has the most stars in, the game buffs that unit's health by 20%. Hybrids seems to only experience a 10% buff. Just a interesting finding I feel like you all should know since I cant find mentions of it anywhere else.
