...is that it seems to be eternal. I can drop if for a while when I'm interested in something else, maybe even for months... and then all of a sudden I get the urge to pick it up and play it again, and it's just as much fun as it always was.
Because of its turn-based nature and ability to save, it's the un-putdownable game that's easy to put down if you have to. (They should pay me to write advertising copy, LOL.)
I also love the open-ended nature of the conquest mode; it's 90% of everything I play. I've never actually managed to conquer all the maps with all the available nations on each and I'm not sure I ever will; it has the capability to keep me entertained for a long time yet. Hell, I can't even remember when I started playing; it was that long ago. But I'm still here!
The only thing that would make this even more perfect than it already is, is the ability to copy my account status to the various iterations I have on multiple computers (and thus to save my progress when the tablet I'm using inevitably gives up the ghost).

Yeah, of all the ET games on my current phone, only EW4 does not have cloud save and my progress cannot be transferred. Having switched to a new phone, only EW4's progress was left behind and thus, reset.
Does anyone have anything you'd like a "new" player to investigate?

As You are an real experienced EW4 player, please have a look at the "new" Chessmod Darth Vader and me are developing. I invite You for a Beta-Testing, Nobunaga Oda.
