It's hard to kill 30 enemies in 9 turns.
My troops got nearlr crippled by Chuikov's force. Should I grind for the SF promote cards?
Pls give guide

you are going to want high lvl SF anyway so yes.
target inf with kv6 and katyusha. and damaged armored units with elefent.
you now know where chuikov is so get your kv6 there and kill him with splash by targeting inf and dmged units.

If I want to get enough kills in several rounds, what I would do on the first few rounds is to send both my heavy tank (KV-6) and heavy artillery (Katyusha) to the west in order to kill as many infantry units (plus armored cars and light artillery) as I can before returning back to my other troops that will be defending against Timoshenko and Chuikov. I would be ignoring Chuikov and simply defend the 2nd city (which will be riddled with enemy artillery) east to the first city. And I will agree that you need higher level special forces for this mission, the soviet armored troops are way too strong, especially Timoshenko's and Govorov's forces.
I'm going to play the mission more soon so I may write a proper guide for it on a later time.
