Who should be my first general? Forst, at minimum, upgrade your commander to Lt. Col, and upgrade finance to minimum 4, then get Vatutin. |

I think that the financial center should be upgraded only after getting the first (well, the only one, for f2p) general (Vatutin, or if one has the patience to grind a lot more, Rommel or Patton or Guderian, since they have more hp). Also, the rank of major is enough, temporarily. |

I think that the financial center should be upgraded only after getting the first (well, the only one, for f2p) general (Vatutin, or if one has the patience to grind a lot more, Rommel or Patton or Guderian, since they have more hp). Also, the rank of major is enough, temporarily. I would still buy Lt. Col. There are some campaigns, even early on (*cough* Wolfpack) with Naval placements, and extra HP is always nice. As for finance, it just makes grinding Sicily Patton and Rommel so much easier. |

If the enemy AI has an absolute advantage on the ground, being able to heal your Rommel/Patton every other round is vital. |
