Isonzo Front - Italy (Cadorna) vs. Austria-Hungary (Boroevic)
Spartacus War - Rome-Crassus & Rome-Pompey vs. Rebels (Spartacus)
African Comedy of Errors (inverse - try to be the biggest and most idiotic commander) - Italy (Graziani) vs. Britain (Wavell), and Germany (Rommel) can join 15 pages in.
Revenge of Ushijima - Lore: Ushijima, who was thought to be dead and buried, has secretly been hiding out on Okinawa. Finally, the time has come. He resurrects the 32nd army into near unkillable undead troops to fight the modern US troops stationed there. - 32nd Army (Ushijima) vs. Japan vs. USA.

I feel like there aren't enough playable countries (or generals or whatever) in all the scenarios. I agree that we shouldn't have space for 17 players but I feel that 5-8 is a good number |

I still think that 2-3 player games are the best. It just helps with people who aren't as active can catch up easier.

I still think that 2-3 player games are the best. It just helps with people who aren't as active can catch up easier. Well, there's already a standard rule in the RPs about this, for everyone to be able to play even if they are not too much active: a player who attacked on a target cannot attack the same target again until the defender player responds or 24 hours passes, for anyone who wants to play to be able to join the RP. Because naturally no one can be active every minute, and everyone have their real life too. So, a person, even if is not as active as the others, can still play a RP. Also, I agree to Don Quixote de la Mancha's suggestion about the number of the playable sides. Because, for example, even the previous poll about this RP had 7 votes, and in the poll in this thread there have been 4 votes even at the moment, and this means that there definetely and naturally might be more people who want to join than 2-3 - the numbers of playable sides on the choices - so the current numbers of the playable sides look like they aren't enough. Of course, if a RP would not be a large scaled one (like would not be a whole WW2), so, for example in this situation, there is naturally no need to be way too many playable countries, though there still should be at least a few more playable sides too for everyone who wants to join to be able to join, as a middle ground, in my opinion.  |

Of course you can set up queues or something, but I don't think 5-8 players would be too bad. Besides, with 2-3, if one goes inactive it's quite a bad situation. The RP certainly won't be too serious so how about starting with 3-5 sides and then possibly making more sides if there's an abundance of interested players?

Yeah, how about multiple gens for each side? For example for the Africa one, Monty and Auchinleck might join on the British side, and maybe Kesselring along with Rommel. Kesselring could manage Axis airforce? |
