EW5 Update:
[Siege Battle] -Newly Added Siege Battle in the Castle. -More purchaseable items added to market. -Newly Added Castle related achievement.
[Special Equipment] Newly Added special equipment for Genghis Khan, Beowulf, Heihachiro, and Charlemagne. Genghis Khan's is purchaseable in Empire mode - Cologne. The rest of 3 generals' equipment are found in Castle-Market.
[Username Customize] Players can customize personal information and pick a favorite Username in-game.
[Privilege Gift Packs] - Castle Gift Pack: 2 additional reward times per day for sieges. - Legendary Gift Pack: Able to raid in the legend mode.
[Other] Fix the time of Daily Quest and Legend mode refresh hours.

I want new missions, not this boring castle stuff... They're really taking the worst features of ew7. I fear they will add that gem system even here sooner or later...

Charlemagne has become unitonically strong, and Heihachiro IMO beats Bismarck decisively now. In my view, charlemagne with item is at best on par with Huo Qubing/Hannibal (I originally plan to update them for cavalry 8, but decide to switch to Charlemagne). It's an expensive trade and I don't see him bring much more to the table at cav trail 8 compare to hannibal/huo qubing. Heihachiro item is good but the perk is almost useless for me as I barely use Heihachiro in sea. Beowulf item is good but too bad, I already complete my infantry trail team. No Genghis khan for me sadly. I do enjoy the new items though as I can buy them with market/castle currency. I did exchange 7,200 silvers for a lame 240 medals due to hitting silver caps.

Already on my Samsung A22 :-)
Just quickly:
1) New achievements linked to Castle - rewards are medals, castle food/wood/stone, or silver ore
2) New building in Castle: Hall of Heroes - levels will improve your generals used in Castle Siege (HP, attack, defense, number of gens deployed)
3) Castle Siege - basically reverse Castle defense : you are attacking on other player's castle. opponent is chosen randomly, once I attacked against level 2 or 3 castle, other time against level 20 castle with 16 full upgraded enemy units (Washington level 70 etc.)
Fortunately, you have 3 attempts (once or maybe twice a day) and you can fail as many times as you want. I.e. you can siege all the time until you win three times.
4) Items: Western Sabre (Heihachiro exclusive) sold in Castle Market for 5500 silver ore
Dragon Round Shield (Beowulf exclusive) sold in Castle Market for 4800 silver ore
Globus Cruciger (Charlemagne exlusive) sold in Castle Market for 5300 silver ore
Heaven's Spear (Genghis exclusive) sold in Cologne for 6500 medals
5) News in shop:
600 medals and 6000 silver ore pack + PERMANENT PRIVILEGE: Two additional castle siege attempts per day (so 5 instead of 3)
1000 medals and 500 relics pack + PERMANENT PRIVILEGE: Able to raid in the legend mode (I am not sure what that means? You can raid for free instead of for 100 medals cost after your three free raids?)
6) you can choose your name - name and epithet chosen at random - so lots of clicking if you want to be specific person from specific place :-) only the final confirmation cost 5000 silver crowns
7) last but not least: it seems the daily server update has been adjusted to 0:00:00 and 12:00:00 UTC permanently (so hopefully no more "15 minutes safe delay or daily missions disappear for another hour")...

In Castle defense, if enemy "rumour" one of your unit, it is immovable for the rest of battle (even after 2 turns when the purple whirl disappears, you still cannot use that unit).
Spotted only in Castle so far, I hope it is not anywhere else...

This update seems nice, always nice to see new things added to the game, even if it may be small. Love how they're trying to make generals more viable than before ^^ Time to make a new file lol

Another note: they delay the operation time of daily missions, now the minimum is 30 minutes until 1 hour for "wrong" slot
Anyway it's a good overall update even if small, the castle now is more useful and less boring. For me compare to the last update they have done a good job

Tried again on maneuvre battle, and it's no bug per se - in my opinion it probably should have been some intended feature, but it seems to be messed up... Whenever you step by you own unit in the forest tile - meaning one of those up to 12 forests tiles you can place as a defense of your castle - your unit will be stuck here until end of battle. Cannot move and cannot attack for the rest of 20 turns. Unfortunately, your forest tiles don't affect enemy units. So this is the reason I think it's messed up. It should affect your enemies, not you.
