Next General, or grind equipment?

good job! You have the best generals already and your starting position for end-game is excellent. To answer your question in short right away, it's definitely to improve your generals instead of buying a new one.

Below are a few tips of where your most urgent upgrades are, or where your medals should go for maximum improvement. Once you have these and have spare medals, just invest in the rest. The tips are in the case you are stuck in hero legend. If not, play Hero Legend! Save your gems and play at least until you get the yellow gem for the mammoth. Getting this one and upgrading it a couple times will make you much stronger. It would make all campaigns and expeditions a walk in the park basically. The very last chapter may be an exception.

1. Your strongest generals (the generals with the most end-game potential) are Archer Commander and Belisarius. I think realizing this alone can help you a lot, and most of your medals should go into these two. Keep in mind that hero legend is mostly about the two or three strongest generals, upgrading more gens equally is not advisable.
A tip that you can apply immediately: Swap Huo's and Belisarius' equipment and banner, and I think you can feel the difference. Try it!

2. Skills: (Idk if you are hesitant to upgrade your ArchCom's skills because you are thinking about to change it to CavCom. Many people in the forum have CavCom, I have ArchCom and I know for a fact that he is perfectly fine, maybe better than CavCom, that would be an interesting discussion ) In any case, you should definitely upgrade the commander skills and the morale->crit skills (Roar, Advantage, Assault). This alone will give you a tremendous rise in power, the rest you can leave aside for a while. Siege is a bad skill btw, I would change it. I personally have March, makes the ArchCom even faster and even closer to a god

3. Equipment: (Unfortunately, at this time of writing, I cannot do any Decisive Battles anymore. I'm writing this assuming it's a bug only for Windows players, but Idk for a fact). You can get two of the best equipments for free in decisive battles: Dragon Tripod and Ganjiang Sword, absolute must-haves. Play DB at least until you have the Tripod, I think that should be possible if you're already in Chapter 12. If you can't get Ganjiang yet, don't worry, just apply step 2 first until you can.

Is that ranked in order of importance? Because ArchCom and Advantage definitely have a higher priority than the items you mention, at least imo. Rank to general I totally agree.
