The trick is never dismantle anything. I heard this from a developer on discord. He may go to hell with his "advice"  I know one thing: if there is an option to "dismantle" - there are things to be dismantled Many war gears need to dismantle, for example battering ram, 3 lvl 3 IMO more than enough and more fragments can be dismantle. Catapult, Siege tower, etc, same.  |

There’s actually no point in grinding. An honourable ET gamer have to complete everything with the rewards the game gives to us.
But there’s always something more than honour in life

In Campaign, if you want to equip many war gears right away but cannot bear the cost, deploying lvl 2 war gears is better. Plus, not everyone use Justinian + Theodora in all battles and most give us limited Technology. Better to keep 3× lvl 2 and 3× lvl 3 unless it is a highly desirable war gear. That's why I bother to clear all Conquests at least once ("grind"). |
