I just recently beat EW4 F2P, and I wanted to get into another Easytech game. Since EW7 seems too complicated and the other games seem boring to me, I decided to come back to a game that I wasn't able to 100% beat, EW6. Recently I heard that the number of free general slots are now 24, so that means I hopefully won't have to struggle on any challenges. So, is this game currently F2P and I would appreciate a basic general pathway so I don't waste any medals.

Yes it is and grinding for medals became a lot easier. For f2p, there are 7 aura generals who boost damage of troops nearby and Nelson who is the best admiral. Once you get them you will have enough experience to make further decisions on who to add to your team.

He's the best cavalry general, besides BlΓΌcher. The free generals you get from some campaign missions (Jourdan, Gates, Clinton and Falsen) will be enough for some time. |

Okay so Mahmud -> Murat -> Massena? No, Murat has the priority, since cavalry can attack again after killing a unit. Then it's more or less the same. As jonblend said, buy the generals with aura and then Nelson. |
