I still support using Chain the Beast, both have 3 fields, and you can put reset button on the hex you are moving on. Your method doesn't need a fast general either. It's impossible to use this conquest for my slower generals |

Although farming is not necessary my tip without any setup:
It is possible to steal at least 2 Farms in [Never surrender] - just at the start of the mission there a few possibilities from the two eastern cities - but just 2 fields for normal speed generals.
