(The previous 1939 Germany guide was deleted, so I decided to fill in the slot.)
Overview
Germany is located in central Europe, with a submarine fleet in the Atlantic Ocean. While your allies will help divert some attacks from USSR, generally all your enemies will focus their attack on you. But Germany has their superior generals and income that can easily neutralize these threats, and become the dominant power in Europe (Germany AI is well known for its paraspam).
This conquest is very easy, but new players will find it difficult to master: it requires some experience in air force management (Axis campaign 2 is a good practice for this).
Minimum general requirements: none
Minimum technology requirements: none
For this guide I will use the no generals + no tech route, so that new players will be able to follow. Experienced players may refer to this guide and modify its strategy to suit their own.
1. Turn 1
1.1. Submarine attack
Bring all the submarines to attack the 2 ships above. (Note: submarines do extra damage to aircraft carriers!)
1.2. Move Manstein to the East
Manstein and the 2 tanks should be moved to the east. Even though Belgium is right in front, it's a trap designed to take down Manstein. We will deal with Belgium later.
1.3. Guderian attacks!
Focus all your units on the Polish city in front. The coastal artillery and field artillery can be used to attack Riga.
1.4. Model and Kietel
Use them to attack Krakow.
1.5. South Germany
Use Greim and the land fort to attack Zurich. It's perfectly fine to attack neutral cities in this game, and it gives us an extra city and airport. Bring Leeb to weaken Yugoslavia before taking it with Student and Meyer, as those two will be killed easily by the general.
1.6. Oil steal
Before we end the turn, let's steal France’s unprotected oil field! Oil is an important resource for Germany, especially when it comes to air force!
2. Turn 2-6
2.1. Capture the ports
After defeating the ships, capture all the UK ports and the French port nearby (as shown in image).
2.2. Warsaw, the last Polish city
Move all your units, including Manstein, to attack and capture Warsaw. The general defending it has high health, but with Guderian and Manstein, he can be defeated easily.
You will receive a message stating that Poland is defeated, which means that all of its units will disappear (surrender), and all of its resources will be yours.
2.3. Advance into Kiev
Kiev is the closest enemy city to Krakow, but Model and Kietel will be worn down. From here, build armored cars each turn to attack Kiev. This is because the general in Kiev is decently strong, and he's on a commando unit.
2.4. Greece
Repeat the same as you did with Yugoslavia, but after the Greek general is defeated (he will come out briefly to attack Bulgaria), you can send Meyer and Student to attack Athens.
3. Turn 7-10 (maybe)
3.1. Minsk
After capturing Warsaw, Minsk is your next target.
3.2. Riga
Bring your field artillery and 2 tanks to capture Riga. As a safety measure, build 2 more field artilleries in Warsaw, as 2 powerful Soviet generals may spawn.
3.3. Rokossovsky
A powerful Soviet general with a massive health, do not engage him with your tanks and infantry. Instead, build field artillery in Minsk to wear him down. Go around him to reach Moscow.
3.4. Stalingrad
The next target is (obviously) Stalingrad. Continue producing armored cars.
Beware of Malinovsky!
3.5. Nimitz
After successfully capturing all of the ports I mentioned earlier, you're finally ready to defeat Nimitz. He's one of the most powerful navy generals in game, and he will sink some submarines before you reach him. I recommend building about 7-10 submarines, and group them up before moving towards him.
3.6. Defense of Cologne
See those 2 generals? They're more of an annoyance than a threat themselves. Prioritize the French general as his attacks can't be countered without building field artillery. Use Goring in Berlin to airstrike them.
3.7. Zurich air
After capturing Zurich, if you're lucky enough to find the small French city near Italy to be empty, paratroop into it.
3.8. Athens air
The capture of Athens opens up a whole new front: the Middle East, which is filled with neutral cities waiting to be captured. But there are more priority targets before we can take them. Since Student is an air general, placing him in Athens will boost air damage.
A: Govorov. Yes he's on a rocket artillery, but he's the best artillery general in game, so killing him still takes some effort. Capture the city beside him to distract his attacks.
B: Dempsey. He's just an annoyance, that's all.
C: Kuznetsov: The city cracker, but he doesn’t offer much resistance to our units.
4. Turn 10+
4.1. Tehran
From Stalingrad, produced motorised infantry instead of armored cars, as motorised infantry has better advantage here.
4.2. Goring unleashes his full power
Now you might be wondering: why are we saving up money all this time? Lemme tell you: it's for this moment. Save up about 2,000 gold, and use strategic bomb on Denmark, using Goring in Berlin.
Once the city health is low enough, use fighters.
And voilà! Denmark defeated in one turn. One final step:
Build an anti air gun on the city. You never know who's going to airstrike the city, so put one just to be safe.
Repeat the same process for Netherlands and Belgium.
4.3. Zhukov
Zhukov spawns in Moscow at the right time and the wrong time. Too bad he didn't get the glory he deserved.
4.4. Northern Campaign
Now it's time to wipe out the enemies in the north. Use field artilleries to attack Stockholm and Oslo, and build submarines to attack Mountbatten.
4.5. India
With the capture of Tehran, the gateway for India has opened. Simply follow the arrows to capture the cities.
4.6. Defeat of USSR
If you successfully defeated Zhukov and occupied Moscow, congratulations! There's only 2 more cities to go, and both are easy to take.
With USSR defeated, you might have a chance to get 2 ports in Asia as a reward. (Note: this is not guaranteed, as Japan might take it before you do)
Why are the ports important? As you can see, you need to deal with these 2 aircraft carriers, which will cripple the Japanese navy easily. You will need as many submarines as you can for them.
5. Rise to world power
5.1. Operation Sealion
Build a battleship, and attack the city next to London. Send Bock to there as well since he can be used to capture cities. Use Goring to airstrike that city once the city health is low enough.
5.2. A new Asian front
Use Guderian and Manstein to capture Dihua and the Mongolian city. If Guderian and Manstein are at low health (less than 70), build motorised infantries from Moscow to take those cities instead.
5.3. Egypt
With Ankara captured, you now have total control over the Middle East. Send the generals to capture Egypt, produce field artillery from Athens if needed.
Produce motorised infantry to capture all cities in Middle East.
5.4. Operation Sealion+
After the city is captured, build field artilleries to attack it, along with your ships. If you have some money left, airstrike it with Goring.
5.5. New York port
If you managed to capture that port, build battleships to attack Washington and New York, which will be helpful in the upcoming invasion.
5.6. Prepare for Paris
Move Goring to London, while making 2-3 field artilleries from Bruxelles to attack Paris.
5.7. Lhasa
You can airstrike Lhasa once you captured New Delhi.
6. Inaccurate guide?
So far on this guide, everything is explained step-by-step, because the RNG (Random Number Generator) is consistent enough that the AI does the same thing each time we attempt this conquest. However, from this point onwards, you will need to adapt your strategy based on what the AI presents to you, and this guide may not be accurate to what actually happens in your attempt.
6.1. The East Asia campaign
From Dihua, send units to capture Chongking. The city has a level 2 factory, which allows you to build field artilleries to attack Wuhan, Nanking and Shanghai.
The small city above Chongking should be taken by airstrike, because the general beside it will do heavy damage to your units.
Afterwards, capture Hongkong and Taipei, either by airstrikes or by units, followed by Manila.
Capture Ulan Bator if it's not captured yet.
This stage is the most random of all stages, since Japan could either fail to take the cities (as shown in those images), or stopping at Nanking, or capturing all of the cities by themselves.
6.2. Goring in London
Capture Manchester, Paris and the small French city via airstrikes.
Since Dublin couldn't be reached with 6 hex range, you will need to ship units to capture it. Capture the city above Manchester.
6.3. South East Asia
With the fall of Rangon, the rest of South East Asia is up for grabbing.
6.4. Africa
The rest of Africa isn't hard at all, just sheer distances of desert that you need to cross. I suggest building fast units to capture these cities quickly.
6.5. Last enemy in Europe
Move Goring to Paris in order to capture the stronghold Lyon.
Now move Greim from Zurich to Lyon, and use him to airstrike Marseille. But in this image, you can see that I captured Marseille earlier, because of the Spanish battleship lowering the city health.
6.6. Goring to America
With the fall of Allies in Europe, it is time to ship Goring and Bock to New York, to make use of the level 3 airport there. (I accidentally lost Bock here)
7. The last 2 continents
7.1. Australia
Once you captured Manila, send some units and ships to capture Hawaii, which is the USA island. Then, build as many FIELD ARTILLERIES as you can, along with some ships, to capture Port Moresby.
(Note: if you don't have Manila, produce field artilleries from New Delhi instead.)
Afterwards, airstrike Darwin, then the battleship general. You will need that port later on.
Oh, and don't forget to bring Manstein and Guderian along. We need them for Australia.
7.2. Canadian little island city
After capturing UK, you will have a lot of units leftover there. Ship them to capture that city, but beware of the battleship.
7.3. The FINAL BOSS
You will need to use battleships and aircraft carriers for this one. Field artilleries will help as well, but with Manstein’s city cracking abilities and Guderian's super high damage output, Blamey will go down easier, which makes a <65 turn conquest possible.
7.4. Goring in America
Use airstrikes to capture Ottawa, Toronto and Washington.
With a huge income, you will think that a huge paraspam will take over the entire country right? Well technically yes for the closest 3 cities, but a faster way is to send motorised infantries from Toronto and Ottawa to capture Edmonton, which then allows you to airstrike the remaining Canadian cities.
Afterwards, the west coast is all yours to take, whether by paraspam or building units.
The conquest is complete!
