I am on gunpowder age, level 57, and have 125 cities in empire mode. What requirements need to be met for missions to give me 20 medals? Right now they only give me 15.
I tried to find an answer but couldn't which is why I asked.

Higher player level, I think. You're pretty close if I'm not wrong.
It's probably because you got stronger much faster than the older version without the extra materials, that's probably why you still haven't unlock it by Gunpowder Age.

I think the number of cities involves only the number of missions - 155 cities is the last level which raises their number from 8 to 10.
The medal award is linked with player level (I think either 60 or 70 for 20 medals), and the number of generals used on missions depends on number of purchased generals.

Reached lv60 today and still 15 so I'm assuming it's lv70 or something. Thanks for the heads up, will try to get to 70 asap. |
