Question from a relative newby. Enjoying the game - some great tips on this forum. But one area which continues to confuse me - the Missions on the Challenges gameplay sections.
Maybe I am missing something very obvious - but I’m not really getting the point of them. They refresh regularly - I get that. And you are effectively asked to add one or more of your generals - I get that too.
But what is supposed to happen after that?
If I add a general (or more) that meet(s) all of the criteria - I press the tick, return 6 hours later, and I have my rewards. Nothing else needing doing, apparently. If I select a general(s) that does not quite meet the criteria (ie. Some are red) - it still seems to give me the option to start the mission. And when I’ve returned 6 hours later, I have the rewards again.
I’m not quite getting it.
Is it right that your generals can take part in a mission, even if they don’t meet all the criteria (ie to turn green)? Is there any risk (ie. Could you potentially lose a general on a mission)?
And is there really no gameplay on these missions at all?
Anyone who could shed any light on the function and purpose of these missions would be much appreciated!

They exist just as a way to grind medals idly, you just need to assign the generals and wait. They refresh every 12 hours (you need to open the challenges section for them to refresh). If you don't meet the requirements, you get less gold, but the same amount of medals anyway, if I remember correctly.

Got it thanks. So I wasn’t missing anything after all. An idle, risk-free way of farming a small number of medals! 👍
