Yep. It changes the sprite of 7* gens to unit sprites unique to their faction.
A good way to invest medals of you have too many or to spring a nasty surprise on attacks in Siege mode.

That option is good, but when you can see the info, it makes no sense. Only in ruins we don't have information about what kind of generals we are fighting.

Then new players are facing 7 star generals in classical forms. I restarted recently, and I noticed peculiar things with enemy artillery. At first I thought I just made a mistake, but paying close attention, no, I wasn't wrong. That Khalid on a Ballista had 3 range. I was very confused, so I wanted to see if the same was for catapults. I found that they attacked at 2 range as well! Their damage is minuscule at best, so that leads me to believe that this is a visual bug or a game glitch, but I could be wrong. I'd have to record a video to show you, as I have a delay on my screenshot for my phone, but you could always make a new file or restart and see for yourself.
