Should we get the medals and Gens they give like rn I am getting wielding tho I have just started and am at 2578 medals for guderien, still are these generals good???

Not very. Weidling is too expensive for what he gives - he's about comparable to Konev. It's much easier to farm the medals via Operations than farm their shop prices. Just keep saving for Guderian.
