So basically trap does not do enough to be worthwhile in territory/expedition.

His skin's active is basically saying that the Scottish Longspearman's troop ability does not mean anything. A shame, but the counter inf with one of the most flexible mobility setup and one of the lowest statuses is further devalued.

Super underrated general, I think he is absolutely essential in any setup, as heβs the ONLY general in the game able to kill enemies out of the power range. If youβre stuck with a supergeneral in Territory which your strongest gens canβt damage and get one-shot against, Wallace is your only hope who can subdue any enemy, regardless of power level, in just one turn. Genghis is also very useful in this scenario, but only as a contributor to overall damage.
Wallace is also usually the only thing that can bring down the yellow frame βstoryβ generals in campaign in a single turn. Not the best in a hand to hand battle, but easily top-3 in game for utility.

Agree completely. Wallace was a must have for me to get through a lot of the Nightmare levels. Gets a high powered enemy down from 6k troops very fast. Give him a Viking Warrior and you've got an extra trap or finish off the guy in front of you.
