I don't know what characteristics his unique item boosts, however I sense he's not the best city holder (who'd need ideally, admin points together with inf. attributes, damage reduction from his red item and 2 skills for morale -the eagle fist and the helm-, which William Wallace partially has, contrarily to Barbarossa who's the master of golden eagle with those two skils)

I just finished his HL and it's one of the better ones, the first mission is a puzzle and the rest are a good old fight. Mostly the English have tanky units, but everyone who has good generals and at least LV12 units will have no problems completing the missions. As for Wallace, a big disappointment is his active skill, I thought that whoever falls into the trap is dead immediately, but actually he only loses a small part of HP, somewhere around 150-350HP, in this type of game where we are quite limited with mobility, this kind of skill that takes mobility points is mostly useless. As Inf Gen is not bad but not among the best either, Cnut is much better. It can withstand very strong attacks, so its survivability is high, it seems to me that it is good for defending cities where we will spend all its mobility points to set traps around the city. A lot depends on his unique weapon, if he has Inf Ab and Dmg Red/Dmg Inc he can be useful and worth buying. For now, rating 3, if the unique weapon is as I said it will be rating 4.

thank you! i am always hoping for good chapters and cheap gens. actually considering him. too bad about that active skill though, it is such a fun idea. fingers crossed they buff it. |

I'm wondering how prevalent traps will be in regular campaign or conquest maps. If they are common, that might give us a reason to use Scottish Spearmen besides the HP and easy-to-get fragments.
