I wish Swiss Guards were buffed. It's a shame that they are so far inferior to the Chinese troops despite being some of the greatest Halberdiers in history. I still think that Chinese units have no place in the European War, especially not to be OP in most categories. Yup. Marco Polo, the man who brought China into European memory, was only 200 years before the end of this game. Surely Chinese units don't deserve such an honor as being in this game when there were many more qualified special forces, such as the Danish crusaders (Idunno, ET would prolly call them Dannenbrog Forces or something like that) who were astounding soldiers.

I think it has nothing to do with history or relative power of troops. My assumption it is a marketing decision to attract Chinese players to spend some 💸 on the game.

It's Literally just this Which is kinda sad ngl, wouldn't mind the Hengdao and Modao in t5 with the cavs, and the Crossbow at t4 but damn, all t6?

Let's wait for Li Shimin heavy Cavalry unit. I feel it will have forest and mountain movement at the same time. This will be amazing Almost every Chinese unit would be OP)

At this point every roman unit was superior to what was the military in the high-middle ages. Let’s make pretorians as t6 unit!

Praetorians deal bonus damage the more money you have and the higher the rank the enemies have Screw the romans, give us tercios lmao and have them the ability to just be a fort

Jeremy Black in his book "Battle of Waterloo" said that it is quite possible that Alexander and his Macedonians could beat an army of Napoleonic age, because early 19 century muskets were highly unreliable weapons. So, I agree that best units of each age should be t6. But it was so bloody obvious that ET will make some money after releasing Chinese units that I can't even blame them

Ah, if I remember correctly Sharp was a sharpshooter and these used rifles. A far more reliable and better weapon. Besides, muskets were highly inaccurate too. So even 4 rounds per minute couldn't save the day

I highly doubt that Sharpe (my favorite book series and TV series BTW) could even make 3 rounds Bekker rifle was far more difficult to reload than Brown Bess

And once they are in close ranges well 19th cent infantry would be *Auto corrected*ed That said, Arti. Artillery. God's primary weapon. That shoot would tear through infantry that tight

Since yuanzhong haven't updated the game (a wise move, I would say , because they changed rewards and winning conditions of Epic battles) I am happy to present IBC lvl 20
