Which team are you going for this time? Is it cavcomm because you have upgraded saladin a lot. Maybe you could also give some updates every week or every month đ Since we need more or less 30 upgraded generals to complete all available content, I think, it is just a question of priority. I think, there will be several stepping stones like: - to complete the game on normal; - to conquer all cities in Empire; - to complete Discovery age campaigns on hard; - to beat Asgard and Temple missions; - to complete Gunpowder and Industrial age campaigns on hard, - to beat all Ust-Nera missions. Since we need only 8 generals for steps one and two, I think, my main team will be like this: - Attila, Suri, Saladin, Huo; - Nobunaga, Nelson, Li - Heihachiro, Cleo (because sometimes two artillery generals are very helpful) And, of course, I am planning to use every general with a personal weapon eventually. Not sure about Charlemagne though.

Yes, real life has an annoying habit of interfering with our playing time plus there are so many daily tasks now that some days that is all we have time for! I'm sure that with Nobby with maxed out skills you will skip through the campaigns when you do get the time to play again, and although I'm confident of completing the regular game I really don't know how my team will fare in the later Hard Mode campaigns so the race is far from over Yes, it was exceptionally difficult on my previous run to beat that Zeus (not sure it was Zeus, but, for the sake of the argument, let's say it was him ) surrounded by unbreakable walls in one of hard mode Gunpowder age missions. In missions of such type Nobunaga is indispensable. I think it's Loki, but I know the one you mean. Hohenzollern Castle I think? The one where you line up your archers and have Commanders and Artefacts ready to activate, then 3 of them get paralysed by Rumour

Just got Mocte's heal to lvl 7. About to reach discovery. What should I do now?? Upgrade some other skill or just save for Li shimin and Peter? There is no "right answer" to questions like this. IMO the best approach is to think about what you want to achieve in the short-medium term and what you need to achieve it e.g. if you're going for Gungnir upgrading someone's Leadership will probably help more than a new general, or if you just opened Legion battles in the Arena then you need bodies, and if you're sailing through the campaigns and daily farming is going well then there's no harm in building up a war chest. Having said that if you want those 2 gens it's always nice to get them as early as you can, but if you're about to upgrade to the next age I always want to have some medals to upgrade some of my team straightaway.

IMO, almost all of stoic's listed objectives can be roughly manhandled by a traditional team of 8-12 gens centred around a desired and viable composition. For specific hard mode battles, some Empire fights, Arena (especially 16-men battles) and Ust-Nera, we can further develop specialised class groups (centred on inf, archer or cav gens) who can tackle very specific aspects. A steady progression from consolidating our core gens to expanding and readying secondary gens to developing groups which enable gens from each class to function well alone is the best map right now, IMO.

About to reach discovery, should I upgrade my generals or buy Peter? I have 1200 medals I think Iron Duke's earlier reply is a really sound basis for answering this. Do you need Peter urgently? => Are you running an inf com core and he'll be quite valuable? => Can you even afford to squeeze him into a campaign? If he's just for show, of little value or even useless (no space to use him), then perhaps upgrading someone already valuable and inside the team would be better. => How much value does he bring compared to upgrading someone else and is this worth delaying an upgrade or two? Nobunaga Oda gains +50% dmg to all classes (not just +50% dmg to cav) while Atilla's anti-inf dmg increases from +50% to +80%. => Are your gens' skills upgraded to a decent extent? I've never used Peter (I field Barbarossa and Petain for my inf com groups) so I'm more against him. However, I do think upgrading the two gens mentioned would bring more to the table than a new, poorly-armed gen.
