Okay, this is week two of me restarting the game. I have reached the empire age have 40 cities, getting 120 medals every day. I am about to finish the medieval age. Do you think this is good progress?? Also I have a surplus of 2300 medals at the moment. Also stoic how are you progressing in your game?

Should I get nobunaga or upgrade skills? Ok never mind 😁 I bought nobunaga, Upgraded his and Mocte's leadership, Got super lucky and finished the NT1 today WITHOUT PALADIN ARMOUR!! Don't know about the others but this was a big achievement for me. Some ideas that I used: 1)Remove boots from artillery so that they attack towers. 2) Leaving space in the middle lures Odin to come out and so attacking becomes very easy. 3)Go from the lowermost path which is the easiest and has max chance of getting the cav bonus. Will be useful later.😀 Now should I continue skill upgrade is a question that I have....

The milestones I aim for are 75, 90, 125 & 155 cities - some of the upgrades to daily missions depend on player level but when you reach those milestones you should only be 1 or 2 refreshes away from the next important level if you're not already there. Remember though that all that racing through the early levels does is give you more daily medals and resources sooner, it is not a pre-requisite for completing the game and it can be done at one's own pace. Read the princesses thread as well if you haven't already; prioritise the medals & literature ones along with Kate.

Did you also win the NT1 without the armour? Also I am on my way to get borte so medals should not be a problem.Do you think I should focus on upgrading skills now? I still need to get Li shimin

Of course sometimes the situation demands upgrading important skills like Leadership before we have bought and upgraded our entire team.

Funny though that I can't get the armour but did the NT1 which was tough in my previous try. I wil try again though 🙂
Also it seems that no one can defeat you in terms of speed. I guess you got the gungnir in 4 days of playing..
Still want to know stoics progress. He had restarted right?

Actually if you check out some of Deleted's old posts in this board (he/she?) steamrollered through the game and got to Gunpowder in about 2 weeks! And I think it took me about a week to get Gungnir, altohugh I didn't play much at all for the first few days. I too am keen to know how the Mighty stoic is doing

We will have to wait. I see Iron Duke's joke is not forgotten Nah, it is more prosaic this time Two past weeks were rather eventfull, so I hadn't much time for playing. Because of that I had no other choice but to upgrade skills of my generals, so now I am a proud owner of Nobunaga with Ledership and Spy lvl 10 and Saladin with Logistics lvl 8. In terms of progress Iron Duke has a significant (if not deceisive) advantage, but, as we all perfecrly know, EW 5 is a long game and it is virtually impossibile to keep the same pace all the time. A puncher always has a chance

I'm sure that with Nobby with maxed out skills you will skip through the campaigns when you do get the time to play again, and although I'm confident of completing the regular game I really don't know how my team will fare in the later Hard Mode campaigns so the race is far from over

In missions of such type Nobunaga is indispensable.
