WC3 w/ no generals, upgrades, or wonders

A few months ago, I thought about starting a tutorial series on certain difficult WC3 missions because I remembered that when I was a newbie, I found it annoying that all of the tutorials either had IAP/Top tier generals or insanely highly leveled generals. So I decided to play through as much of the game as I could while not leveling up units, buying generals, or building wonders so that anybody could replicate my strategies. However, I have encountered a significant roadblock in the fact that this game is actually ridiculously hard w/o good generals and troops. I made this thread because I wanted to both document my progress and ask if anybody else has ever done anything similar.

I also play on pc so I don't know anything about the newest updates.

Missions I have beaten so far:
Tutorials 1-3 (Duh)
Axis 1 3* Bronze
Axis 2 3* Bronze
Axis 3 3* Bronze
Axis 4 3* Bronze
Allies 1 3* Bronze
Allies 2 3* Bronze
Allies 3 2* Bronze
Allies 4 3* Bronze
Hold the Ground I
Hold the Ground II
Break Through Encirclement I 
Wipe out the Enemy I (This one was crazy hard)
