I have 2 questions Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov: 1, how many troops does Romania have? 2, could you add my name to the initial list under Astria-Hungary?

Only for Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov and Darth NihilusTo French and Polish ambassadors So, there is an Austria-Hungary wanting to learn Romania's army's size (since Romania can't attack it, it must be wanting to attack Romania), and an ongoing flood of floods (lol) of secret communication between you two and them more than 4 pages. May I ask the meaning of this, dear gentlemen? The Soviet Union is disturbed because of the these going on without informing us, and disappointed because of this behaviour, in other words, why are we allies if we will not cooporate? We do not believe that you have a bad intention, however, as allies, we are disappointed that we are not included in these affairs (especially which interest us most with Poland, because seemingly about Romania and Eastern Europe or Balkans, or them all at the same time perhaps, who knows) and since we are the most powerful country in Eastern Europe and one of the first 3 or 4 strongest powers in the world (depends on the criteria), and that's our most natural right, and we don't even mention the natural right that being allies provides. We are sorry if we sound mean, but we merely wanted to kindly state our discomfort about this issue, and we sincerely believe that we will not have such problems in the future again, and you will understand us. Do not think that we don't trust you, but try to emphatise with our situation: we don't know what you are doing, and if we knew then we wouldn't intervene or ask, but the only way for us to know what you are doing is that you to inform us, so this is the direct consequence of lack of communication. And Just like a paradox or vicious circle. Lack of communication is one of the biggest enemies of victory, both in small scale like battles and the big scale like diplomacy, as history shows. There are even examples that one country's army kills its own soldiers because of problems in communication, like Battle of Karansebes. We believe that you will understand the importance of this issue. Because if we are to help you (which is crystal clear because of our behaviour) and if you are to help us (which is again crystal clear because of your behaviour, we trust you), we should all inform each other about our plans as long as there is a special reason that will benefit all of us. So, this serious/concerning and disturbing tirade aside , we will want to learn what's going on, please, hoping that the reason is the reason that we guessed. Again we are sorry if we sounded mean, but we are sure that you will understand us, and I would like to confirm you that we will respect your reason too, and if the reason is about us, we will do whatever is necessary to solve that problem. After all, we are allies and should remain allies no matter what. This is our difference from our enemies: we base our cause on humanity, logic and reason, no matter what our ideologies or differences are. We unite whilst our enemies divide. We have already learnt to put our differences aside and that is what our difference from them is. We are beyond such things, and it is our duty to defend the world against those fascists. It is our duty to protect the humanity against them. Because we are the allies, and this is what we do, and shall do forever, until and beyond the infinity and everything, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless the situation may seem in the future (which will never be, I believe), and this is what we do, and what we shall always do.

I move army groups Berta-Henrich to the Romanian border, as well as panzer armies A-I, and 2,000 guns
700 fighters and 600 bombers are in the area to provide air superiority and Close air support, respectively.

My current attack bonuses are: Artillery, +1 tanks, +1 outnumber, +3 CAS (Close Air Support) +1
considering this is an unexpected attack I'm going to assume the Romanians do not yet have defenses.

What we've been previously doing is, that tanks and guns add to numerical advantage, but they can't take the bonus above 3.

Only for Eugene V. Debs and Darth NihilusFrance can assure the Soviet Union that none of the diplomatic discourse it has had with Austria is in anyway against the interests of the Soviet Union nor is it in any way threatening to violate good relations between our countries.
The matter of discussion has been Czechoslovakia. Knowing France had previously guaranteed Czechoslovakia's independence the monarch of Austria-Hungary contacted France with the request of annexing Czechoslovakia - by force if necessary.
We stated that any act of aggression against Czechoslovakia would be considered equally hostile to France and war with them would mean war with us. Following this, their Majesty ordered the militarisation of our border with Germany. Following this, we delivered an ultimatum. Fortunately, Austria agreed to remove all, but a single army from the border. An agreement regarding Czechoslovakia has however not been reached.
As for Poland, I believe Austria has suggested a joint invasion of Romania. I believe Poland has accepted this. For me, it is okay as long as Austria only take Transylvania (which they seem to want), for this could help contain their aggressive expansion.

What we've been previously doing is, that tanks and guns add to numerical advantage, but they can't take the bonus above 3. So does that mean my outnumber bonus being 3 caps it? I feel like the numerical advantage thing makes sense, but if your enemy has no way to combat your tanks and artillery (which the Romanians don't) it should also have a bonus. That's just my opinion though, if you'd rather not have it that way I'll keep it capped at +3 for that stuff, with CAS bringing it to +4 total.

The tanks win the battle. Now all tanks launch an all out attack on Evora. I'd say the Portuguese would defend with maybe 150,000 to prevent a -3 advantage for me so it's 6 to win. hO244_PiThe infantry attacks towards Beja and needs 5 to win. The French army triumphs and the Portuguese people are filled with joy as the cruel dictatorship is crumbling! The Portugal forces at Beja are virtually obliterated and in Evora they suffer over 80,000 casualties against the armoured divisions. 100,000 infantry and 100 tanks attack. Since defending with a force so large that a -3 bonus would be prevented would leave the rest of Portugal so utterly undefended, I'd say they will defend with half of their army, that is 35,000. 6 to win because they probably have trenches. rFChamdyThe rest of the tanks attack Santarém. 5 to win. Both attacks are medium risk. Lisbon under siege!Good news arrived this morning. The Portuguese army has once again been utterly defeated, now at Santarém. As the defenders flee to Porto, the armoured divisions sweep to Nazaré and close lay Lisbon and Setúbal under siege. In the south the fighting has been tighter, but the French army is prevailing.
But we will not rest!
The fighting south of Setúbal continues:
FADUNYL1
The rest of the infantry in Portugal are tasked with securing all the territory south of Nazaré except besieged Lisbon. Unfortunately, 3000 fall fighting against facist guerillas.
500 tanks take the motorway to Coimbra and will crush any resistance on the way. 300 tanks start moving south, closer to Lisbon.

Does that mean the CAS doesn't add a bonus either? Once we get a working air force system, I think that could be a seperate function, but for now, I think it's fair if it does give a bonus, although Romania should have some air force, I just haven't added it.

Defeat at Setúbal! We may have taken a step back, but before that we took two forward! Now we will take the third! duP8U6bAPortuguese forces set a defence in Coimbra. Well prepared defences make victory hard (7 to win). Tanks north of Lisbon will advance until they reach Torres Vedras. ···
