I suggest you lower your hypocrisy levels and let France deal with an actual threat. France lost 40,000 valiant men fighting for the freedom of Albania against Italy and we will make sure their blood was not spilled for nothing. Your forces in illegally occupied Yugoslavia greatly outnumber ours in Albania, so there is no threat to your empire. I am not illegal occupying Yugoslavia, the country of Yugoslavia has been returned to its rightful place in the empire. And as I mentioned before if Albania were to actually be a threat I would have my forces eliminate said threat. However I've seen no reason for this invasion. If you can give me a good reason then I will allow it, and even use my forces to assist in this liberation. Some in Albania have close ties with Italy, which invaded it in our previous war. In that war 40,000 French died in Albania and I have to occupy it before Italy can do it again when the 40,000 lost lives will have been wasted without a reason. Italy, of course, most strongly protests this unprovoked and unjustifiable aggression against a friendly state. An Italian occupation of Albania (were such a thing intended) poses no threat to French interests. Nor can the French claims be taken seriously, justified as they are with the logic of a man who, to save his friend from an attempt on his life, shoots him in the head. In fact the only possible reason for a French interest in Albania is to pursue its strategic interests against Austria. Italy calls for both of these countries to withdraw their forces from the occupied countries. Too much blood has already flowed into the Adriatic. |

They seem to be already making treaties with the USSR and Poland and there will be no room for you in that alliance. If you don't believe me and warn Austria-Hungary, you will soon see Northern Italy lost. If you decide to join me, you will regain your lost lands in the Adriatic sea region.'
Edit: If you see this, I invaded Albania and accused you to justify it, but it was just to have a reason to assert military presence in the Balkans.

As I've said in our previous talks, the most important obstacle to an alliance between us was that I am against betrayals unless there are very special conditions. But now, France is the side that has betrayed and I do not have a connection with them any more. Therefore, there's no obstacle between an alliance between us now, and I will be honoured to do so.
The only thing is, I am still allied with Poland and I respect alliances unlike France, as you have seen in our previous talks when I rejected betraying because I had already been allied with others. Therefore, now, I would like to propose an alliance between the three of us, you, I and Poland against fascists, France and any other threats. My only condition is that Poland joins us, so we should convince them too.
Also, this alliance must be pro-socialist, even if not totally socialist (since you will still continue being monarchist for now). |

And they have not talked with us for pages and pages. So, it is clear that France has betrayed us and it is no longer ally with us. So, only you and me has remained as allies and turned out to be loyal to each other in the end, dear friend.
However, although France is no longer an ally of ours, you and I are still allied and I will continue this alliance, unlike the traitors like France. However, we need a replacement for France. And I have been talking Austria-Hungary about this. They proposed me an alliance before, but I rejected because I had been allied with you and France and I didn't want to betray (unlike France, I am against betrayals and I will protect my allies no matter what, and this was what I told Austria-Hungary back then) Though, we agreed on not to cut diplomatic channels even though I rejected betraying to anyone. And they respected my choice. And I appreciate this. As you may have realised as well, while the others were always agressive, two of us always managed to get on well with Austria-Hungary. They peacefully accepted my proposal for the distribution of Romania, and from what they told me, I understand that Austria-Hungary and you have agreed on the matter of Czechoslovakia in a peaceful way. So, I am happy that I've trusted them from the beginning and continued our diplomatic relationship in a peaceful way. And your relationship with them has been like mine too, as far as I know and what I can tell from what Austria-Hungary told me. All three of us can manage being logical and peaceful no matter what circumtances are, unlike France and Italy.
Therefore, now I sent Austria-Hungary an invation to an alliance between me, them and you and we have agreed on this alliance. Italy commits not to fortify its borders with France, or to place heavy equipment close to France or French territories (unchanged from before).
Italy withdraws its other treaty commitments. Any foreign interventions, excluding France, its possessions and its allies, will not be considered treaty violations, and Italy is free to fortify its borders with other nations.
Italy withdraws its protest and publicly recognizes the French occupation of Albania as legitimate. |

1. As was agreed on the previous treaty, Italy will not place any troops closer than 300 km of the French border in the Alps.
2. Italy can militarise its borders and engage in foreign wars excluding any of France's territories, colonies, protectorates and occupied territory. Italy will not interfere in Spain and it has to inform beforehand if it wants to wage war on a France's neighbour.
3. Italy will not publicly protest any French wars, unless of course they are against Italy. |
