How should I proceed? (generals)

I am in the mid to late stages of the game. I have Ozawa, Govorov, Guderian, Zhu.D, Sansonetti, Vasilevsky and the 3 ECs. I have not upgraded the ECs at all and my current plan was to sell Zhu.D since I got Vasilevsky. If I sell him I will be at around 8.3k Medals. After that what should I do? For more context I am HQ 45 and on conquest I have completed up to the 50s with ease ( haven't had time yet to do 60s but it's probably easy). Campaign-wise, I have finished NATO, WTO, Axis, Allies missions snd the first Aliens' one popped up. I have two of the three medal producing wonders and on the side missions ( rescue the ally etc.) I am at the 6th-8th on average. Should I invest in ECs or buy generals like Konev, Patton or Yamamoto? If I buy generals I should be able to get two in the 3k price range and one in the 2k-ish range. I don't remember the cost for making good ECs though.
