AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! CROATIA DEFEATS BRAZIL!!! WHAAA?!!
Both the matches very extremely close. Argentina almost lost it. Two upsets would have been miraculous. But, it didn't happen. Best 2 football matches I saw.
I STILL CANT GET OVER THE FACT THAT BRAZIL LOST!!!

This has been one of the most strangely entertaining matches I've ever seen. Also, the ref's blowing the world revord :D Oh man, if you saw my post above, I was THIS close to jinxing it Also the ref completely lost control of the game lol |

But looking at the prematch situation of both matches we had a group winner against a passive posession team that had difficulties to make chamces in the group stage except against Costa Rica of course. Then in Brazil vs Croatia we had the biggest favourites against a Croatia side that is still good, but one that hadn't won a single match except against Canada and one that lacked any attacking threat. But once they got to penalties, I agree, it was finished for Brazil. True, but Brazil also lost to Cameroon. Granted they weren't trying in that game, but nor were Spain against Japan. Plus as a Canadian we have first hand experience with Croatia and Morocco lol First of all, I agree with zink, but also I think Spain tried more against Japan since they hadn't by any means won the group yet. Brazil played a reserve team and Guimarães should have scored a hat trick based on the chances they scored. |

Best chance for Argentina or France to win the cup, but don't underestimate the minions now. It's still a better result for the giants. They would have preferred to take on either of them rather than Brazil or Spain anyday.

I am having a gut feeling that Croatia will play their second consecutive final.
