In all honesty, this one is not terribly hard. Only problem is there are two extremely powerful Tang generals that if you do not kill as soon as possible, the two of them alone can sweep your entire army. Li Siye (guy with Li Jing's face) even has iron wall and charge at him with any charge cavalry (regardless of whether iron wall is active) will result in that entire legion being wiped out completely.
For the first few turns you have to be careful. You must time the chaj's betrayal carefully or else you will take unnecessary damage before the Tang arrive. They turn on you the moment their general falls to the Tang Dynasty and said general will respawn after you take out the garrison defending the northern city they hold. Plus the ally will camel spam on you the moment they turn. The two Tang generals will keep marching westward and take out whatever stands in their way. In the case of Li Siye gen, you can try to use Sunicas or Timur (or Richard for p2w) to disable his mobility and pick his army off with ranged attacks, do not charge him, and in the case of Gao Xianzhi, a powerful charge and couple of powerful range gens will usually take care of him. However, when Li Siye activate Iron wall you must ignore him and when charging Gao you must make the first move or he will destroy. Once the two of them are defeated, just push eastward and finish the Tang cities.
Since I mention enemy camel spam, I recommend camel spamming yourself against the enemies once you get the first 2 chaj cities since you can drop Li Siye face's morale and cause him to lose health. You can even spam camels any general who lost a stack.
Tips: Do not upgrade jet black or black armored guards past level 13 or your jet black or black armored guards are what you will be facing if you do
Get very powerful siege items like Orban Cannon since the chaj level 4 city has 3000 hp and level 3 has 1500.
