Ok guys, I read all posts about that battle. However I didn t find a decent solution for it. I capture everything. I surround the city. I encircle the city and attack it from all sides. However the walls regenerate their healt. The units inside suffer low damage cause of morale raising and walls which are indestructible. Do you have a solution for it? The reinforcement fleet is alive, at least 3 of them survive. I can t understand if I m missing anything about this mission, this really sucks, it is annoying to get stuck like that

Alfred + calmness can remove walls fast, orban cannons have chance to remove 25% of wall HP, helepolis can lower morale and a well placed triple charge with/from Nevsky can do the same. If it's not the unit levels and generals that are lacking, then it might be the timing.

Didn t the walls regenerate hp when they reach half their value? And the general in the fortress recruit new overpower units in the fortress?

And obviously you have to encircle the city to make you task easier. That includes taking the castle. Btw, if you kill reinforcements there is an automatic moral drop of all defenders.  |
