I’ve noticed on some youtube videos that in the campaigns some players have 2 or 3 of the green circles where you can deploy your castle general. I only ever have one.
Does anyone know how they’ve done this as this would make the missions a breeze

both saladin and charlemagne give an additional circle. they are iaps. you can view their priveleges in market section. initial number of gens +1 they call it. so you have to pay for that.

Actually it may be a big issue eventually. For example, battles of Crecy and Poitiers...
I have English longbowmen at lvl 8 and haven't unlocked (and not planning to do it) a new Garter unit. With this stuff I have to fight against high level reinforced opponents without any hope for hiring additional units. I completed them on normal difficulty but on hard I will have only one deployed general against several dozens of lvl 15+ heavy cavalry units. It should be really tricky to beat these missions as a f2p.

Tbf I think paying the £5-£15 or so it takes to get a decent load of gens really isn’t that bad value for a game with this much content. Especially when they are always adding rewards and new sections Not like WC3 and 4 where you needed to spend ludicrous amounts of medals on generals and their upgrades if you wanted to progress.

I’d say this game is different from previous ET games. Before missions were really hardcore, but they were all like this. Now it’s all about quality of your troops, so more preparations- and than easy walk. A kind of disappointment, but who am I to judge 😆
