tldr: terrible
In this post, I’’ including the new IAPs as part of the update. The generals themselves do not appear to be able to change the higher-end of the game (the way it should be; IAPs should be for speeding-up progress, not requirements) like speedruns, but their new perks, if offered on old generals, would make our current firepower even more OP.
Turning Konev and Zhukov into tanks with the new artillery medal would literally break the game, and would mean all current conquests records would have another round or two shaved off.
As for gameplay, the new missions seem to be time-gated, which is a first for any WC. I beat the first three or four then had to stop. Also, the % eliminated would be cool if implemented solidly, but it wasn’t. Currently, capturing cities reduced your % since the enemy spawns less units. Competing the mission often yielded me 95% or so, so I only scored 100% maybe 2-3x out of 15.
What are everyone else’s thoughts?

ET seems to have reduced the damage of critical hits for artillery.
Did anyone else get this?
If it was on purpose, since no one else really values it, this is just an f-u to speedrunners.

If true, then it's not just for artillery. When I use Guderian to grind medals in domination, I could routinely do 200+ damage on a crit, but this week for some reason I've been getting 150's.

Is your base damage about the same? This is the first time I’ve played since summer I think, so my number are a bit iffy, but the critical multiplier is definitely off. I was seeing how the new medals affect 39/43’ speed runs and my multiplier was at most 1.2 as opposed to the more typical ~1.4 on artillery. If you experienced this too I will contact ET. What’s the best way to do so? I pray this was not on purpose because that is just a terrible decision.
