depends on objective. you can complete most things f2p

p2w wld serve best in the new mode and frontier

wouldnt rely too much on youtube no gen clears that alrdy operate at a considerable advantage at maxed tech

But it's the most convenient and flexible way to play WC4, you can play it as hardcore or casual anyway you want to.
