Hi All,
I am current stuck on World War 2-1 and Heroic Industrial Age 2-1 with the following line up:
Author 7 *
Nobunaga 7 *
Nelson 7*
Washington 7*
Li Shimin 7*
Genghis Khan 6*
Awakened Pachacuti 7*
Yi Sun-sin 7*
Napoleon 7*
Alexander 6*
Li Hong Zhang 7*
Caeser 6*
(Unused)
Awakened Mulan 7*
Moctezuma 7*
Robin Hood 7*
Have whole Paladin, Titian, and Keal Sets, all relics, Paris market equipment, and commander skill max. Non commander skills range from 7-10 depending on usefulness.
Unit Trails and Princess Trail Uncompleted.
My question would be what should I work on for more strength? I am considering the following:
1. Get Attila or Barbarossa to 7* and have that replace someone (Alexander?)
2. Get Genghis and Caeser to 7*
3. Get the rest of the skills that are level 7 to 10
4. Unlock Heaven's Spear and the rest of the Golden equipment
5. Get Odin Set
Please let me know what would be the best way to make process in campaign, unit and princess trials.

For skills, as you go through the threads in here, you know which one is useful, and which one is not. I will name few that are worth to get to 10: Commander, Leadership, Logistics, Braveness, Bugle, Inspiration, Spy, Hero Blessings. Those that should be at least 8: Navigation, Rumour, Armor Master, Cure Master. For hero, if you use Arthur, you will need at least 1 Commander if not 2 to support him. So Barb or Petain/Peter if needed. You will need a roster of 12 for World war. Suggestion based on your thread: Arthur Barb Petain/Peter _ If you feel 1 commander is enough for Arthur, then use 1 of the gen listed in optional below Napoleon Nobunaga Nelson Awakened Pachacuti Washington Genghis Khan Awakened Suri Attila Optional: Li Hong Zhang for more archer damage/Yi Sun-sin for armor master/Moctezuma for Cure Master _ You can use Caesar if you want but as you have him 6 star already, but he would need 2 commander hero to help him shine/Saladin _ Recommended for cavalry team above/Blucher (You don't have, 2nd option after Saladin) for Armor Master. Suggestion order of spending medal would be:1. Max Suri 2. Buy Heaven Spear for Genghis 3. Update skill 4. Update Attila/Barb to 7 and get their skills updated properly. 5. And one general advice... EW5 is a difficult game. Even if you haven't made any strategic blunders - the result is far from guaranteed. Keep trying to beat this mission (and similar missions). Sooner or later you'll find out that there are minor details you haven't previously payed attention for. And, believe me, with each attempt you will gain an invaluable experience.

Thanks for the advice! I am wondering why is Moctezuma recommended over Ceaser? Mocte is Healer+Debuffer. With all these gods, semi-gods and magical beasts around it never hurts to deploy another general with Leadership. Plus Mocte is far cheaper to upgrade and to promote. Many depends on your first team, of course. If you have many Infantry Commanders - then Caesar is preferable. If, on the contrary, you are planning to deploy several Archers commanders, - Mocte will be more useful. Try to see it as if you are a coach of a football team. Each line has its tasks and the result depends on how good each of your players does his particular job. |

Thanks for the advice! I am wondering why is Moctezuma recommended over Ceaser? Like stoic, said, mocte has leadership which help reduce enemy attack beside her cure master. However, I did forget your Caesar (You noted him unused obviously because you didn't see any use for him in a non inf com team). You can use him in my suggested line up as you probably develop him well, at least level 7 in cure master/braveness. You should have 2 infantry commander in your team to help him though. So play with your roster like you are their coach. Keep in mind that either mocte/caesar or other hero I suggested, non will be a waste of medals as you will use them in Unit Trail. (There are some cheaper options and people did pass unit trail without blucher or Yi sun-sin for ex, but with few extra days of medal, it will help you lose less brain tissue trying to 3 star those battles). |
