I got around to start doing the epic battles.

In this one, on turn 6 we get reinforcements from the Visigoths and Alans, the enemy get reinforcements from the Ostrogoth.

This was a bit strange. Defeating Attila caused him to respawn with reinforcements.

To prevent the mission ending early and to get the secondary objective I deliberately left one of the Ostrogoth generals alive till I captured Strasbourg

Strasbourg has a lot of HP so I gave my Timur the Orban Cannon.

If they haven't changed it, it was 50 medals before the last update. Provided a player completed the secondary objective.

Oh, they actually changed it

Definitely not worth it to replay it anymore

I completed from the Huns side.
This definitely felt like a epic battle with the dialogue on turn 6 and the reinforcements. The reinforcements are tilted in favor of the Roman side when playing the huns. The Romans even get reinforcements when we take Troyes.

Good news is that defeating Aetius will cause a morale drop on the Roman units.
At the end we get a nice victory dialogue from Attila.

radiofuhrerbunker: can someone provide link of WC4 Glory mod. That doesn't crash when using airforce and has no sound issue fixed. Feels kinda boring to play without BGM and SFX Nov 6, 2024 20:02:55 GMT
