Ranking in Conquest is calculated by your best highest score in each conquest, mostly from kills. More the kills, the higher the score

I saw a post on discord where people were showing how they could get like 25 million ranking points just by playing a conquest forever and thereby accumulating tons of kills. I tried it and it works. Played barbarian invasion on auto (with 3 of my best gens with tents, they just would never die) for something like 2000 turns… got 1.2 million points. Allowed me to get the last ranking reward. Clearly an exploit but it works.

I'm trying this without the grind and so far, it has been possible to get ~500k for fast challenge conquests with one star nations and around 30 turns. (but I haven't done all the scenarios yet)

So the point is to pick the most optimal Conquest in each era, unleash everything and just keep playing?
Is there a point to replay?

Put 3 or 4 of your most defensive gens in high level cities with tents, make sure you set them to defense (so they don’t go attack stuff and die), put auto on and go do something else for an hour or two… When you come back you have accumulated tons of kills. Then just change the auto to recruit and attack and it should finish quickly. At least on smaller / easier conquests. I do not think there is any point in doing it more than once, I just did it to get the highest reward in conquest ranking. You do not even need to do it for each era, just once should get you a million or two points. More if you leave it on for longer. But I think there is a limit on turns, something like 6000. From memory I did 2000+ turns on mine and got 1.2 million points.
With all conquests done I was something like 200k points short for the highest reward. So this more than cleared it for me.

the result of 4x fast challenge conquest for the scenarios except 100YW and CoI and 2x normal conquest for the latter; one star nation each

So the point is to pick the most optimal Conquest in each era, unleash everything and just keep playing? Is there a point to replay? We could get the hegemony+challenge rewards for each nation once. But them being a few gems, tickets, coins and mithril along other trinkets, I rather put the time in daily grinds such as territory battles and expedition. Mobility gems are imo the only worthy incentive, at least until I have 10-12.

Thank you. Just a few more queries for those who are in the neck of it.
1. Do I need to farm kills or can I just play to win on, say, the highest difficulty? I don't want to pull a WC3-style "leave your device and game on overnight" move here if it's not needed. Does it make a difference besides allowing for us to claim the cumulative Challenge rewards?
2. Also, given that there are first-time rewards for challenging oneself, is it the same reward for that one country no matter the difficulty or must I use the hardest difficulty to get everything from that one state? If slight adjustments are enough to claim all the rewards, then I wouldn't play all-out against everyone because of how much time would be wasted.

If slight adjustments are enough to claim all the rewards, then I wouldn't play all-out against everyone because of how much time would be wasted. 1. Here are my detailed reports:
I didn't go for kills primarily, but it happens when having to conquer the map in BI. In the Vikings challenge conquest, I kept Denmark + Scotland alive and gifted them my surplus resources for the last ~5 turns while I was still busy finishing off Vikings in Ireland. This was a little kill farming and it might show in the points, but I had to kill all Vikings anyways for the win. In Rise of B and Crusaders, in the late stages, I was allied with 2 respectively 5 nations and killed the rest.
CoI and 100YW was normal conquest, so mostly capture capital, make them surrender and ally the rest. As for whether higher difficulty points --> more points for the hegemony victory: I can't say, only did max reward ones and 75 or 76 difficulty was used.
2. Yes, the challenge rewards are a fixed list for each country. Once you claim them, you can't get them again. And you can only get the highest rewards with a 75+ difficulty conquest. Playing three times with 25 doesn't work. If you're aiming for all the rewards, it makes sense to put some time and thought into equipment/gem optimization for the task ahead and maybe even test play the first 10 turns to get used to fighting against (almost) everyone.
Edit: When aiming for "ranking" rewards, the advantage of going full WC3 (several thousands turns, after setting up a kill farm in Viking Invasion) is that you get several million points for this challenge which in turn means that you don't have to challenge yourself in other scenarios.

While doing such long farming conquests, can you take a break and reroll the shop? Or will the S/L mess up the ranking, grade and rewards?
