So planning ahead for the next update:
i wasnt even able to max all regular ranged units bc i dont have enough targets and still dont. i dont think i am the only one lacking or soon to be lacking upgrade material.
expecting another max lvl raise how are you going to collect the items.
are you buying them in gold shop?
are you buying them with flash sale for medals... sth i NEVER thought i would do but maybe it is worth it at some point idk.
or do you just not care about upgrading those that much and you will get to it whenever you can...
as a side note i stopped "watching" adds months ago bc they are mentally draining to do... until they increase the rewards, which they dont. so yes i am lacking a few more than many of you but its hardly that much.

I just sell my large abundant of leftover titles and will repeat if the units max level do get a raise.  |

I think that my situation is even worse   because I sold some of these items at some point in the past to get gold. Probably not the best decision. Yet I don't care about it too much. Sooner or later we'll get all the necessary items and I predict that it will be before we really need all troops at their max level. At the moment war drums are really a key to all doors and I really hate this approach. But, hey, I use them whenever possible because I don't like artificial difficulties either  |

This never happen if you grind gold for gold shop hardly enough. I have 2k - 4k of each now.🙂

How odd. I used to sell some of my common training materials. Perhaps proceeding to the second half of the Hundred Years' War bled some of us dry? I wouldn't know because I'm still at Crecy. I thought some of us would go crazy and clear all Conquests and Achievements by now. Perhaps with a few Challenge Conquests of any value and/or at least one max rewards Challenge under our belt, it should be enough.
stoic, did you try to upgrade everyone at once? IMO, it'd be more prudent to select the cheapest available options and the cheapest good option and focus on them. For example, spear militia and Shield Pikemen for Counter Inf. The cheapest and the cheapest good unit. |

stoic, did you try to upgrade everyone at once? IMO, it'd be more prudent to select the cheapest available options and the cheapest good option and focus on them. There are pre-deployed units and slim (if any) hope to hire someone else in the process. I would rather prefer a more balanced approach in this situation. You never know who will be in your legion next time. |

Same situation here. I used to buy them in gold shop twice a day, but now I stopped because my gold is starting to be too low for comfort.
Conquest challenges can provide good amounts but these are not recurring, and it is time consuming.
As for ads… never watched them, always thought reward vs time wasted was just ridiculous.
So afaic it’s a matter of patience, which I know will run out. There is only so much mindless grinding that can be endured

One question I have is: Why not sell your war drums? They are poor but certain sources of gold.
Unless one has spammed them like bullets on a machine gun (*ahem* "Epic" War Drum-led Battles), there should be hundreds of them.

Unless one has spammed them like bullets on a machine gun (*ahem* "Epic" War Drum-led Battles), there should be hundreds of them. yeah its a lot, but all the shops are so overprized and we sell with such loss, i will keep holding on to drums for now. ____________ so from all your feedback i think for now i will just keep ignoring the problem and probably start buying from gold shop once the update is near and i feel too rich again which might just be the case soonish xD bc i dont wanna cap out on gold anyway. altough i could just spend gold on other not immidiatly important stuff instead of targets and scarecrows, i can always find sth to upgrade just nothing pressing or important at the moment, like titles of nonpriority gens, or certain units i am not very invested in. therefore i havent decided anything afterall, i am a genius |

But, hey, I use them whenever possible because I don't like artificial difficulties either One note about artificial difficulty: After practicing the war drum style for quite some time, I found this channel while fighting through the latest campaign which brought me back to appreciating good preparation and well executed strategies that include mercenary and generic units at realistic levels.
