Helm of the North is basically Harald Hardrada’s item, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it was supposed to be but for whatever reason ended up being a shop item instead. Other than that I really don’t know if the items go with specific generals, but ideally use them on generals with the skill the item boosts.
