In this game you choose one country and no one else can choose that country. You can decide to declare war or make allies. You must learn technology when I present the option to you. Please see: european-war-4.boards.net/threads/recent/2310Factions: Kingdom of Insects: These are insects of all types(excluding Bees)evolved into human-sized humanoids. They are masters at mass-production of warriors and population, strong in numbers. Faction Advantages: Allied with the Bees(Both of them can't declare war on each other) Knowledge of Factory. (Flight) United Ocean: Fishes(they are humanoids) They are the best naval power at the beginning of the game, but will be challenged by the Reptilian Archduchy. Faction Bonuses: Knowledge of Trident(UO equal of spears).Knowledge of Galleon. Republic of Amphibians: This is the balanced faction, they have enough power on each front to defend themselves. Faction Bonuses: Knowledge of Carrack.Knowledge of swords, knowledge of longbows. Confederation of United Rat Clans: Like the Bees and the Insects, the rats are swarmers, though they don't come close to the other's ability to mass-produce. Faction Bonuses:Knowledge of Galley and Spear. (un-reversible alliance with Bats) Avian Eyelet:Louis XV Overseers.Know all technologies but can't declare war/attack unless provoked. Sovereign kingdom of the Bats: The soldiers of this kingdom mustn't get into close combat, until they get melee weapons. Can't declare war on Rats.(also allied with them) Faction Bonuses: Knowledge of crossbows and flight. The Great Archduchy of the Reptilians: These soldiers can be deadly when bunched up,but a soldier of their's is worth 2 of any other faction's. Faction Bonuses: Knowledge of sword and caravel. Scale Armour:(They can't study armour technology)(Tough as iron) The Great Hive(Bees): These soldiers are just like the insects, but they are airborne. Faction Bonuses: Knowledge of Musketoons, knowledge of bayonets. Flight.

Should this be moved to the RP area? Just saying.
@theopofthisthread, I would be interested if the tech tree has something like 4 eras, 25 techs in each era. They can be broad, covering animalistic developments or even magic, fantasy etc... or more sci-fi, or just very well written historical material.
I'm a civer forevermore at heart.

Okay... I'm in.
Guess Valutin gets the Oceanic Empire, he seems to want the fishes. Do I have to pick from either of the other two, or can I suggest different choices? Like RatPeople (aka Skaven from Warhammer fantasy ftw)? In the WH 2.5 mod for civ3 the Skaven is Industrious and Scientific, good speedy units for swarm attacks. The naturally curious rodents makes for a beast of a nation in scientific development in a civ game.
If you wanted a name of that country, I suppose it could be the Confederation of United RatClans led by a despotic general, named Rattius, who rules with an 'iron claw' over the worshippers of the Great Sun-Stealer, willing fanatically die for their clans.
What do ya think? This game should be titled something different than Random Wars. It could be Beast Wars.
Oh sorry to add one more thing, if the rat thing is unacceptable, I pick...err... the bugs?

Technically, you're the GM for this right? So if something is off, doesn't fit, or out of line, I suppose you do kinda have the power to determine. I never got into a TW here before.
