So I got my first 6 core champs of arch com, Belisarius, Pompey, Mithridates, Drusus and Pacorus. I think I should get Vercingetorix next because i'm a little lacking in the infantry department. After should i get more generals or do i upgrade my current ones? Also when do you think i should start doing the Hero Legends because i ought to buy other generals for there that i wouldnt otherwise use.. Do i wait for more late game for that? Once i finish whole campaign for ex? And when do i spend medals on items and which? Thanks.

My personal opinion on when to play hero legends is start whenever you like. If you overprepare for them many are very boring in the beginning. I did that and regrettet it later. Therfore if you have fun playing also have fun failing (sometimes) always attempt everything whenever you like. Sry this is very basic advice but still. Yes vercingetorix is great. Progressing campaign to get some items that are rewards is probably your next step. So probably just progressing campaign and expedition as a focus, but dont postpone HL too late imo.

Yes, I agree with nikomachos. First HL chapters are quite easy if our Commander (our main force in these battles) is even moderately upgraded. No need to postpone it whatsoever. I would rather say it is better to play them now, just to understand how to approach them in general. Quite often you don't need anyone else besides our Commander to complete these chapters, so it is possible to save medals for generals you really need later on.

Get Vercy. After that, sooner or later you'll probably need a navy general, and eventually Huo and Arminius, but if you're doing fine without them for now you can focus on items. There's plenty of good discussion on items on the forum, but in short - Golden Spear, then anything that gives morale/crit chance, then damage and health. Go ahead and start HL. You don't need to buy the generals if you can win without them (and usually you can, I managed HL without buying anyone I didn't want anyway for my main lineup). As far as you've got, the early levels will be really easy.
