Want something new to spice up your campaign missions? Something that is stressful to do and will literally give you nothing but bragging rights in return?
I present you the Wipeout challenge!
This is a challenge where in campaign missions not only do you capture every single city (not just the ones marked by objectives), but eradicate every single enemy unit on the map.
This EW4 conquest style challenge gives more of a difficulty to campaign missions even after you've got your endgame lineup. While earlier missions will still end up being walkovers, it will progressively get harder as you advance through the campaign. It also gives these campaign missions a more open map feel. While usually you are focusing on punching through to one objective, this makes a more open world approach to the campaign--like mini conquests. And while you can try to get the 3 star rating (I was able to do that all the way up to Axis 08) there's usually no pressure as that always falls on wiping everything out before the solid deadline round limit comes up. There are so many moving parts to this challenge, so many things you could be striving for, that it opens a world of new opportunites. I especially found Allies 08 and WTO 1 very fun and satisfying to take on. I did struggle a lot more than usual however. I am yet to beat WTO 6 Axis 10, and the second half of NATO (haven't even tried the alien missions).
Tell me your thoughts on this idea, any way it can be improved is welcome!

Well built ECs will bulldozer early campaigns with ease, since the power of ace commander and wearable medals are too great (my ECs with ace commander, plain fighting, inspiration, explosives and lvl5 assault medal can at best deal slightly over 200 dmg).

That seems doable for the NATO/WTO missions and below. But good luck doing Alien missions without all-marshal commanders!
