I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to build a general using all three musketeer units. I'm really into musketry in the medieval era, but effectiveness always takes precedence. Is it a good idea?

I've done it as a joke, but for practical means i don't see much use for it. Conquistador and Sultan are not that good but Dragoon is great.

What I'm most concerned about is dodge. Ranged infantry don't have any skills that help them activate or ignore dodge.

Hey, we are playing for fun And there aren't any strict rules when we are just enjoying the game. It may not be the best or ideal legion composition, but the firepower of this legion should be quite impressive in attack as well as in counterattack. Just remember words of the former Chess World champion Tigran Petrosyan: There is no such thing as defensive or attacking style, there are only a winning style and a losing style

Would actually make not a bad level 5 city defender in firearms age. Maybe with justinian to repair rampart?

I can't recall with precision where did I read it, but he was a guy with a great sense of humor. For example, Karpov in his autobiography tells this story... Once a group of Soviet chessmasters were in Paris. It was the first time Karpov was in the capital of France and he was eager to see Louvre. Others were more pragmatic and preferred shopping. In this situation Petrosyan told Karpov: "Just tell everyone that you visited Louvre. Certainly no-one has any reasons not to believe you and to verify it"
