I’ve gotten back into the game recently and have been wondering what general to buy next. I currently have Jackson, Moltke, Grant, Hotzendorf, MacArthur, Sheridan and Farragut.

Perhaps Straußenburg? His inf aura would complement MacArthur's nicely or replace the latter's.
Plumer can match or replace Sheridan in terms of cav aura.
Unless you're struggling with cracking forts using Hortzendorf, you shouldn't need an arty gen at the moment. Maybe Beseler will be enough.

Depends on what type of general you want. For artillery besler or ivanov are good buys, cavalry plumer is good and for infantry straubenburg and then after that Lee.
