I'm thinking about buying Wittmann since he is in the shop right now, and he is a very powerful tank general considering his stats and skills, definitely much better than Guderian, but I'm not sure if he is better than Manstein in skills, but I can say his skills are very good.

Idk who to get, but all his skills are specialized for him and no other general in the game has it. But his Ace Armor skill is OVERPOWERED, He will deal critical damage +35% which is 11% more than Manstein's critical damage, and he will RECOVER HEALTH by 20% of his damage dealt. Not including his Elite Legion and Breakout skills YET. But should I buy him?

Wittmann is just super OP, his skills are like twice as powerful as the next best generals, it's actually disgusting that they introduce such a blatantly pay-to-win general. Honestly I think they should remove him and Vasily, they turn the game from "how do I play this well so I can win this mission?" to "which general should I spend money on to complete the game for me?".

Actually all the IAPs are unbalanced massively as of right now, the only one that I think will get little love would be Spaatz, because no one really focuses on Air or Naval Commanders. Weidling I think is decently balanced, catering more towards defensive missions, but Wittman, Vasily, and Tolbukin are all very OP and need a nerf. (I keep on running into them in the Special Missions tab, and they ruin almost every run they appear in.)

Rommel is about as good as Manstein, let alone Wittman. Get Wittman. That is, in terms of optimization. In terms of fun, get Ike.

Wrong, Rommel is no match against Manstein, 1) desert fighting is trash, 2) anti-armor is pretty much trash and Manstein’s swappable skills offer an anti-armor skill 2 lvl higher than Rommel’s, 3) Rommel has no blitzkrieg or other defensive skills. This is GOG3, not WC3. |
