I'm approaching the end of the game at UN 1 I've gotten most of the possible medals up to this point and wondering what to use the last few thousand medals ill get in this play through on (I also just got the battle pass but going very slowly. Idk whether to buy another general maybe Rommel or upgrade current ones. Right now I have guderian , leeb, donitz, vatutin, konev, and rundstedt. I have rumor unlocked on all but haven't upgraded except donitz to lvl 5 wolf pack and an extra mobility star. I also have Guardian upgraded to rumor lvl 5, armored assault lvl 5, and blitzkrieg lvl 5.
Should I upgrade current generals more or buy more generals?

You can only have 6 (is it now 7?) in campaigns, so for now you only need 8, the extra for flexibility.
Guderian, Rokko, and Rommel all with rumor is fantastic for UN levels, especially on hard.

You can only have 6 (is it now 7?) in campaigns, so for now you only need 8, the extra for flexibility. Guderian, Rokko, and Rommel all with rumor is fantastic for UN levels, especially on hard. Right now it's 6 but ET did say they were planning on increasing the limit in some levels |

What was their rationale behind that? idk, but considering they were expanding rosters to 25 slots and they were going to add new modes, they might have wanted to make the game slightly more accessible to f2p generals (maybe that also means new generals, who knows). |

I think ill buy rommel later down the line and instead invest in vatutin, konev, and rundstedt for rumor

Dont invest in Vatutin. You will trade him in later.
My Gens. Are Manstein, Guderian, Rommel, Rokosovsky, Montgomery, Graziani, (and Bradley) of these Rommel and Bradley can pinch hit for artillery, Monty has decent air and Graziani can go on infantry if needed.
On arty i have konev, leeb.
Yamamoto is a Navy, Air Hybrid but can be used on arty on land with 4 stars.
I also have Nimitz, Donitz and Mountbatten, but Nagumo can be picked instead. My choice is because Mountbatten can also be used on arty.
In infantry, i have Rund., Yamashita and MacArthur. Yamashita is ideal on commandoes and for invasions. Others for forts and cities (With Graziani for back up).
You have Armor, Artillery, infantry, Navy and Air forces. You need minimum 4 of each except Air. 1 is enough and maybe just 3 in Navy for warzones. Doom allows for 19.
