The government of the UTDTAL is happy to announce to have received a shipment of rice and 500,000 rifles from the great People's Republic of China as well as 100 fighters and 100 bombers borrowed from the USSR. With an extensive recruitment program we aim to increase our ground forces to 600,000 infantrymen. So, as a starting army, we have around 20,000 tanks and 30,000 guns. While there isn't a proper source specifically for 1950, the Soviets had the largest standing army history had ever seen just a few years ago, as well as still having similar numbers, if not more, as well as being the biggest country. Let me know if you think it's too much though. Still, since the USSR had similar numbers both before and after 1950, as well as being a superpower, I think it's fair.
We'll produce 250 fighters and 250 bombers per page until the next order.

We, the Soviet Union, also send 30,000 rifles, machine guns, ammunition, and essential military gear (helmets, armor etc.), as well as humanitarian aid for the civilians and medical aid for the army. We also send a military advice group, including Marshal Kliment Voroshilov (totally just a coincidence Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov  ) to guide the army during the war. Let it be known to the whole world that the Soviet Union will support the resistance against imperialist and capitalist forces (they're inherently insepererable anyway) throughout the world. Democracy shall prevail. True democracy, socialism shall prevail, thanks to the great Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, created by the will of the people, against the capitalist forces. Comrades! The Soviet Union introduces a series of revolutionary reforms, inspired from the legacy of the Paris Commune, the Revolutionary Catalonia and the Makhnovshchina, thus ending the previous Stalinist era. A new era shall begin, with the united front of the anarchists and communists, both for our glorious motherland and the international proletariat.
We're bringing decentralization, workers' collective ownership of the means of production and workers' self-management, as well as a democratically planned economy. We'll improve the existing soviet democracy (i.e. council democracy) to a more direct form, with improved workers' councils and popular assemblies for local issues, like in anarcho-communism or syndicalism. We also reform the party to a true worker's party from the bureaucratic mess it's become. In this way, we'll break the corrupt bureucracy caused by the previous administrations and consequently improve our economy as well. We also promote revolutionary social policies, as well as green socialism and environmentalism, which was more or less ignored by the previous administrations. Capital punishment is almost completely banned, and instead we promote restorative justice and rehabilitation. The repression of the Stalinist regime to fellow socialists will be stopped, and counter-revolutionaries who try to divide us will not be tolerated. As for foreign policy, we'll start implementing proletarian pacifism and promote world revolution. We will oppose all imperialist wars and those of the bourgeoisie, and support all anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist movements, and intervene to protect the interests of the international proletariat if necessary, such as we've done in Vietnam. With the communists and far-leftists in the Riksdag arrested or in exile, the exhausted and defeated political left has not put up any fight when the Duke of Halland demanded he be made “Protector of the Swedish Realm.” The right was fully behind this move, as they view that in this time of instability a strong leader is needed. The social democrats put up limited opposition, but since the Riksdag would remain intact, Prime Minister Tage Erlanger has not opposed the move. His Majesty the King has congratulated the Duke but made no other comment.

You're literally violating your self-claimed "democracy" by banning a completely legal political party. You claim to have freedom of speech, but you violate this right of those whom you disagree with. You're violting the will of your people, there are many communists in Sweden. The Soviet Union gives an ultimatum to Sweden to legalize the communist party and restore political democracy. If done so, we'd like to improve the relations between our countries. We respect your neutrality, but you are no longer neutral if you ban the communists. From that point on you're anti-commumist, and WE are the leader of the international communist movement. |
