Brock in general shop: Brock in scenario: Y’all ever noticed how Brock’s skills differ when bought and when given? The Korean community has found this out a long time ago. I just felt like pointing it out, since the Brock in the pinned thread ‘commander’ is shown as the one with sailor, but no formation. By the way, I was wondering if these two Brocks are the same general or not. Are they two different generals different in the game code? Or not?

We also figured this out long ago.
I believe they are coded differently, but I'm iOS so don't take my word for granted.

The reference commander shows the drawable commander 1-200 as you find themin the academy and the princess. Most of commanders you encounter in the battles (campaign/conquest) are different commander-id. Usually the skills are the same only items, rank and nobility differ. Brook is the well known exception, Paulus rates them individually.
iirc there is one other, but uninterresting shift - maybe Frankemont ?)

I think it's pretty sad how Brock in the general shop is the one with sailor...
Brock has great infantry-gen potentials.
Formation + Bugle is the best infantry skillset, and backed up with that assault art? That's one heck of a juicy general.
Even got that juicy 4 stars on training!
I'd personally prefer leadership over banner, but I guess it's better than trench or something.
If only Brock had formation... He probably would be one of the most, if not the most, potent tier-3 infantry general.

I think the concept of different commander-id is interesting.
Imagine, having a campaign map where there is like Napoleon in the enemy side. Like, Battle of Eylau on coalition campaign?
Napoleon has OP skillset like this: - Explosive - Accurate - Leadership - Geography
I think this is a very interesting concept.
The real general in the general shop is just downright bad, but when facing as an enemy, the general is stronk.
Imagine easytech makes updates to utilize different commander ids. Perhaps modders could utilize this?
