I'm just curious, are all green nations a same team like a 3rd group? Or are they soloists who are even against other green countries?

There up to 3 teams blue, red, green.
Only this 3 teams can win.
The armies of the black "team" seem not to move at all, so you cant call them a team - without action there is no colaboration. You can't play black.

The two circumstances under which I have seen green teams are:
1) Sometimes when a friendly who you turned neutral turns hostile, they turn green (as opposed to whichever of red or blue you are not).
2) In the second battle of the Holy Roman Empire campaign, you are red and there are two "green" teams which fight against the blues but do not attack you.

I kinda wish there were more campaigns with three sides like that instead of two. Legacy of Empire is a ton of fun to play. |
