Does anyone know how to beat this level? All the key areas require me to divert my forces lowering my chances of my gens survival and Stalingrad is a nightmare to just even attempt an invasion

If you have more specific questions just ask! I need to take 8 key areas and theyre all heavily guarded by enemy gens, triple stacked units and elite units. I try to just attack the city but im worried the surrounding units are gonna retake it back while my main force goes to take the rest I have lvl 5 rumor on most of my gens but they still get damaged too much to the point where i sideline them so i dont lose them Just to clarify im stuck on the event mode not the scenario one of Stalingrad

One will cross the river south and attack all the cities on the south (plus your navy general) and your other bigger wing will stay on the mainland until they get to the eastern part of the map. Don't attack the fort outside Stalingrad, instead circle around and try to cross on the very eastern edge. You will probably have to accept that your generals won't be able to take down Zhukov on their own so build up your economy so you can spend a few k on air on the last turn.

Just want to add a bit You wont hurt Zhukov with any kind of air attack, so the only choice to face him head on with your tank & arty (mine with help from Inf. Gen in Mech to reduce city HP). Save the stalingard for last since you can ignore other gen than Zhukov. No need to rush, there's so much turn to make sure your backyard is safe first. I finished it with 26 turns.

Thank you all of you guys for the advice much appreciated. I have a couple questions more if you guys are ok with that Is my lineup good enough to complete not just the level but the whole event? I have guderian leeb konev nimitz rommel donitz roko arnold dowding rundstedt and wittman(not trying to flex sorry in advance) guderian leeb konev nimitz rommel have their skills fully upgraded the rest dont(wittman is halfway done and donitz and roko have lvl 5 rumor and lvl 3 respectively). They all have red banners but no health upgrades Should i reset and start again? Roko died in my last mission due to carelessness not sure how much of an effect he would have tho considering i only put rumor lvl 3 and blitz How hard is the last level is it relative to stalingrad? And how is hard mode this question is optional if u guys wanna answer it Again thank you for the needed advice will apply it soon

Upgrade to Purple banner for Guderian, Konev, and Rommel at least, so they can get 3 ribbon - Last mission on normal is not as hard as stalingrad, so no need to reset. I just startes with hard so i'll give the update later Good luck

Taking Rokossovsky's city will trigger a morale drop for the enemy's western forces or perhaps the rest of the map.
Taking Konev's city will trigger a morale drop for the southern forces on the two southern landmasses, and maybe the rest of the map as well. Additionally, it will induce the southernmost forces and troops on the western end of the peninsula to launch a counterattack.
I'm unsure if taking Govorov's city caused the eastern forces of the peninsula to move, or if they do attack naturally.
Lastly, Stalingrad's defenders, even those around the rocket fortress, are formidable. 3 adjacent mechanised inf units failed to survive and the enemy was aggressive enough to wipe out my supporting troops.
I used Messe, Rokossovsky and Konev for my southern islands campaign and they barely managed to finish and survive in time. My land forces were nearly wiped out while advancing to the target on the central part of the peninsula.
How do my troops even survive or win in time? I tried to ignore those at the eastern tip of the peninsula, but they attacked. Enemy firepower on Stalingrad's landmass is too strong to use Market Garden distractions.
Gens used: Donitz, Guderian, Rokossovsky, Rommel, Konev, Leeb, Dowding (resources only), Messe, Horton, and Yamashita (medic).
