I am fascinated by history of European Wars. But I find gameplay, especially conquests too slow. I am currently playing EW6: 1804 and I have Massena. How do I properly enjoy this game more?

To me, one of the main thrills in Conquest is overcoming the enemy surge at the start. Afterwards, it's usually a mop-up, and my mood decreases the more I have to commit to finish the run.
In 1812 and 1815, maybe it recovers a bit, facing a new foes across the Atlantic. However, it's still mopping up a doomed enemy, so the boost isn't as significant, unless you're crossing towards the Old World from the New.
Well, if you have more gens, spamming them to finish the moping up of enemies more quickly is the best way. Unless you plan to imagine the situations as What-Ifs or theoretical wars and enjoy winning. For example, the British Empire crushing the Americans after defeating Napoleon or Napoleon sailing to assist his American ally / allies against the powerful Coalition remnants and their allies.

Thank you, I have discovered Netherlands 1798 and got Murat and tons of gold for tech.

EDIT: Not yet on British Empire though, still at the Russian EDIT 2: Now I am in Battle of Trafalgar. The midgame begins.
