Hi All! I recently came back to WC3 after realizing my saved data was wiped back in 2019 after buying a new phone. Now with Cloud Saves, I have returned and after about 2 weeks, I've hit an impasse and would greatly appreciate any input! Special thanks to Manstein for his Generals Guide! I also have not spent anything on IAPs. I may purchase the Elite Pass in the near future to show my appreciation for the community (World Conqueror 3 in 2019 and 4)! The screenshot below is a picture of my current generals: 1) 1 EC has 3 stars in movement, level 3 plain fighting, level 2 explosives, Rank: Colonel 2) 1 EC has 3 stars in tank and movement, level plain fighting and blitzkrieg, and level 2 explosives, Rank: L Colonel 3) Others: Govorov, Guderian, Sansonetti, Weidling Current Trek: -Campaigns: Just gold starred all the Allied/Axis/Cold War campaigns. I have not touched Alien campaigns (will defer for now) -Challenges: Level 5+ for all challenge types. Also deferring as I've hit level 8 for 3 types and am fighting aliens (evidently, I also stopped here when I played WC3 back in 2019) -Conquests: Earned medals for all normal conquest types except 1975 (alien conquest). -Challenge Conquests: Only earned medals for 1939 challenge conquests. 1943, 1950, 1960 were too hard (as of last week) and so I deferred them Question 1) What generals would you prefer I buy next? Right now I'm spamming 1939 challenge conquest to farm resources to upgrade technologies
1) Should I wait for Katukov and Sikorski in Rotation? 2) Sansonetti is doing fine in terms of air raiding in conquests, so is Goering/Bittrich even worth it? 3) I was contemplating focusing on ECs, but I find that buying more rotation generals might be better long term as they can be used on medal-oriented missions (orange icons) which in turn, will generate more medals on top of the 3 medal wonders I have running. 4) How is Patton in terms of Conquests? I remember his street fighting was invaluable for alien campaigns/conquests. But I figure because I'm farming conquest, I should focus on more conquest-oriented generals/technologies Question 2) What do you recommend I prioritize in technology upgrades? Right now the focus is on Conquest farming 1) I've been debating amongst infantry, artillery, and aircraft technologies 2) I noticed aircraft upgrades eventually upgrade from PMI into Commandos which might be a turn off in terms of mobility - but the extra range on paratrooping would help immensely for conquests I reckon! Should I still upgrade aircraft beyond PMI? Question 3) Operations - Right now I'm spamming Medium mode on Operation Barbarossa. Definitely would appreciate how I can upgrade my current lineup to beat hard mode on Operation Barbarossa. I can just barely clear it but it is too risky. I take the Northern Route through Leningrad and that level specifically is where I risk losing generals before hitting Moscow! Thanks to all who took the time to read my questions and current trek! Looking forward to discuss! Cheers, Panzerzs

1.1. Following the guide I'm having right now: Katukov, no Sikorski. You already have Weidling, who does Sikorski's job. If you are following someone else's, feel free. 1.2. If you think Sansonetti alone is doing the job well, keep going. Buy them when you feel the need for another air general. 1.3. Don't. Absolutely not worth it. 1.4. Street Fighting doesn't do well in Cold War conquests and non-1939 challenge conquests. Patton is getting obsolete so you should get Katukov.
2. Artillery definitely. 7 is way too low. And then infantry. Stick to level 7 air until you reach level 13+ infantry. That extra point of movement will compensate for the loss of MI.
3. Have you tried the southern route then?
Also, if you are planning to spend real money and your maximum budget is elite pass, you might want to consider Eichelberger as well. Elite Pass speeds up the process but Eichelberger can make your final squad better by replacing the weakest link with a strong one.

Thanks Manstein!
1.1. Thank you for your input! Katukov will be my next general (praying he appears in rotations ASAP!). 1.2. Got it. I'll wait for Bittrich as my 2nd Air General as per your guide. 1.3. Thank you for the input. I'll leave ECs to the very end game after the main squad is formed. 1.4. Thank you! I will skip on Patton and focus on Katukov as my 3rd tank gen.
2. Artillery it is! I keep forgetting that artillery is supreme in WC3 while tanks are supreme in WC4!
3. Update: The southern route is much easier with the Missile silos at base! I was dumb to not try the route since I initially perceived "Stalingrad" in the southern route as daunting without even trying it!
Also, if you are planning to spend real money and your maximum budget is elite pass, you might want to consider Eichelberger as well. Elite Pass speeds up the process but Eichelberger can make your final squad better by replacing the weakest link with a strong one. Thanks! Eichelberger is a monster with chance for double hit wow. In the meantime, I'm farming medals from those 3 medal wonders by keeping the phone on through the night.
Additional Questions: 1) So far, apart from promoting the ECs to colonel, I have not promoted the HP/military ranks of any of my generals. Do you have a recommended order of priority as to which generals to start promoting ASAP? Guderian and Katukov I assume are absolutely necessary? If so, what's next in order of promotion priority?
Cheers,

Cheers, Upgrade Katukov and tank EC to M General. However, hold off on Guderian. You might end up with 2 tank ECs, and the second one will take Guderian's spot. You'll also need to promote Bittrich when you get him. I personally promoted everyone (except Sansonetti) to M General and then the ECs to Marshal.

Thanks a lot Manstein for all your help last month!
I have reached end game (Campaigns and regular conquests done, all operations done except overload, and challenge conquest 1939/43 and Alien conquest completed entirely)
I was wondering for challenge conquest 1950 and 1960, what 1 and 2* countries you recommend to complete the 1* and 2* country challenge conquest speedruns in under x turns?
Unit spam and Africa when facing the WTO countries are quite intense and eat valuable time, and my victories (at least for now) have hovered over 40-50 turns for 1* nations in 1950.
Thanks!

Thanks for the counsel Luigi and Blue!
For the 1* countries such as Greece and Portugal Conquest Challenge 1950, how do you personally go about taking out North Africa as NATO? I find that area is quite annoying and has no easy outlet to wipe out the Russian cities apart from Egypt within ~35 turns (Assuming the highest speedrun task for 1950 Conquest Challenge 1* nations is 35 turns)
Strategic bombers can only reach Egypt and after that, it's a nasty grind!
Thanks!
