Remember how we "zoomed out" of the map , we would see the units as little circles instead ? Well , how do I change the margin in the layout. files so that when I zoom out , I can still see the units instead of the circles ? I know the Ages of War mod has this function , and I'm 100% SURE it has nothing to do with the lib.so files , and it's hidden somewhere in the layout.file ( just a line of xml) , but I can't figure out where to change the numbers . Does anyone know how to change this ? I would be grateful , thank you .

It is definetly not part of the layout.xml (at least not in EW4). Check the layout it is xml: made to read for humans - but zooming is not ca part of it. Why are You sure that this is not part of the executable (.so) - is the lib is untouched (checksum) ?
Note: You get a simmilar effect if you have very small battlefields - you only can zoom out to it's borders.

A few years ago , I asked Hord ( the Ages of War mod creator) , if I could use some of his files of his mod , Hord said yes . Well anyways , I replaced the layout. files from the Ages of War mod into my mod , and when I zoomed out , I could still see the units , which was a pretty cool effect . The reason why I'm sure it has nothing to do with lib.so is because this effect appeared only when I replaced the Layout files . I didn't use the lib.so files, or any other file .

Not many people change the layout files, there will probable not so many changes. If it is like this, put both files in your editor (NMM) and mark the diffferences. Like this You will easily find what changes hord made (do not forgett to credit him in your mod). I don't know any entries in the layout that describe the battlefield, but I'm EW4.
