He's in the center and have insane stats so I can't kill him. Also there are 4 white circles, but when I occupied them nothing happens. Also he summons reinforcement. So the questions are:
1. Is all Expeditions the same for all locations and players?
2. How to beat him?
3. What means white circles in many missions? In EW7 were yellow ones :-)
BtW, the game is interesting and general fragment randomness is bearable IMO.

I used 14 gens with troops. The white circles in the game has the same point as the yellow circles in prior games: triggers for in-battle events. I think occupying one or all leads to his defence being lowered:  He might have a resistance against poison at the start which is later lost through events, HP reduction or both at once. He'll move towards sites of enemy reinforcements: NW, SW, SE, and NE. Send one to two to harass him. After clearing the west side, he headed back to the middle, recovering all HP, but it seemed like he lost his poison immunity. Note: The field starts changing. Avoid stationing troops in poisoned areas The stage seems set to ensure you have 6-8 gens at any time (green circle). I think that if you beat the reinforcement gen when they show up, you'll turn them to your side and can command them. This only works when you beat them on the turn they join battle. (White halo shows this trigger) Keep stepping on the white halos, hunting down trigger gens and harassing him. He fell as he approached Nobunaga. I used lvl 2-3 troops with some Rank 2 gens. No IAPs. |

Yes i think its the same for everybody.
If you surround him he cant move -> none of his allies appear. The end.
Yes the white hallows are there for triggers. They give you poison immunity but since its crucial to surround him first turn, forget immunity, stand in poison its fine. Use all your dmg active skills on him or any other debuffs. Attack with inf, cav first and then archers bc more fragile. Later when your gens beginn to die you get 2 additional halos. If he escapes in that turn you can reach him still and it was the final blow for him.
Interaction with his allies therefore was 0. Interaction with poison resistance was 0. -sadly, bc it was easier that way.
No iaps. Troop lvl 0-3.

I did it a bit differently. I allowed him to go actually while buffing all of my generals. As said above, he will call for reinforcements. However, they are not like him. On the contrary, they are rather fragile. So, it is possible to kill them blocking his way to the northern corner at the same time. After both targets are killed, his moral drops and he is a sitting duck for two turns.

In that case i rly do commend the mission for working fine and beeing clearable in multiple ways, and you guys for finding those ways. Turns out my approach was the boring one. 😴 Its only that the second i saw that poison immunity is useless and a waste of a first turn i immidietly went for cold efficiency.
No matter, if expedition resets every week and if these mission are on repeat (idk?! but i suspect it) then we will all get the chance to play every tactic a million times over again xD and ill get to try those as well.

I think that the game is fairly good balanced. New players begin their journey relatively easy with plenty of opportunities to get different resources. I completed Shimazu's chapter today on hard. So, in less than a weak it is possible to beat such levels of difficulty. I can't remember similar examples in other ET games (oh, well, first hero chapters of EW7 were pretty easy too). If Mori's levels are close in difficulty with Shimazu's you'll have a fully upgraded Mori in no time  |

Thank you all for your help! I'll try all variants, but the problem is all my generals are wounded (70-10% HP remains) and more - they're locked (I started this Expedition on my third day of play or so and now I have much powerful army, but can't use in this event). So maybe I'll wait for reset.
Also I've got a bug in another Expedition sweep - it was 3 times sweep, but when I've upgraded my castle it said what now it's 4 times a day, but when I swept it's still 3 times (on sweep card is written what there's one sweep left, but sweep button is grayed out). Someone have such bug yet?
And what means "special troop" for gold and purple generals? The stats are still the same...

Those count for all expeditions and all Hero Legends in library. This means you can daily sweep 1 expedition max 3 times but can spend a 4th sweep either in a Hero legend you unlocked and finished or in an other expedition. 3. Here there are two 2* generals Maeda and Obu Toramasa with equal cavalry ability commanding Horoshu cavalry (theoretically it is a special unit of Maeda). Truth be told... oc if it were to be damage increase it wouldnt show in stats. And since there are many variables that influence the damage, it is difficult to say precisely what these special units do differently when commanded by a particular general. Well, at least it shouldn't hurt to combine them together |

Still hard at first try though. |
